VINYAL EASTER BASED ULTRA CHEMICAL RESISTIVE COATING

Introduction

SAFE COAT VE is two pack vinyl easter based coating with outstanding resistance to aggressive acids, solvents, alkaies, sulphuric acid, methyl, ethyl, ketone & methol, Safecoat VE is a solvent free ultra chemicals resistive product with semi gloss finish & antiskid options. The product is ideally suited for internal lining of steel & concrete storage tanks, chemicals bunds, dyes & printing works, canning & food industries.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
(1) Available in different colour choice.
(2) Pot Life at 30°C, 30 minutes.
(2) Initial Cure time 3 to 4 hours.
(3) Application temperature 5°C to 40°C
(4) in service - 30°C to 125°C.

Application Guidelines

1) The Concrete surface should be minimum 28 days old or maximum 5% residual moisture.
2) Ensure that concrete is clean & free from dust oil or other contaminations. Defective potholes to be repaired with Conpaste EP, steel surface should made rust free by apply safe coat RC & cleaning with wire brush & sand blasting.
3) Apply safe Coat Primer W & allow the primer to dry up.
4) Mix the base contain & hardner in a different vessel, mix properly with a drill with paddle attachment.
5) Apply first coat by brush or roller then sprinkle. Safe Coat sprinkle grains if required for antiskid option.
6) Next day brush off excessive grains on the surface of coating & apply second coat.
7) Allow air curing for atleat 12 hours for light foot traffic.

Packing and Coverage

PACKING: 5 Kg.
COVERAGE: 5 Kg pack covers about 10m2 at thickness of 200 to 250 micron depending on surface & texture.

Shelf Life

3 months if stored in cool & dry condition in shaded area in factory sealed containers.
